“Good in Air Only”

SQ is a very good airline in the air - one of the best if not the best.

But it is an appalling airline on the ground. Call centre staff, ground handling, Krisflyer staff etc. are all atrocious. If your journey goes well and you have no need to contact ground staff, call centres etc you should have no problems and enjoy the experience.

If you need to contact a call centre or there is a problem you can expect rude, arrogant, ill-informed and wholly uninterested staff at every turn.
