“disappointing internet check-in process”

I have always travel in SQ. But, the internet check-in is no longer what I used to like - it is now so terrible that I may not want to fly SQ anymore. Practically all seats are blocked, and one does not have any choice at all. Even when I called the office, I was told nothing can be done. Its just blocked - not because the seats have been taken (that is the frustrating part).
