Checked in and baggage taken even though on line it said that the flight was cancelled. We boarded to fly at 7am 12/05/2013 and was told delays. After two hours sat on a plane without take off i asked the flight attendant was they bringing water round i was told if we must have water go to the back and buy it. I said i thought after a two hour delay was a legal requirement to be given very rudely to complain and when i asked the attendants name quoted to flight number. Still saying on line cancelled after 3 hours we left the plane to collect luggage.
We then stood in line until 4pm 9 hours after boarding just to speak to someone. No drink or food offered.
My car was at east midlands and the next flight i could get was 7 days later. The staff was blunt and rude. No options move from the desk or get arrested. Was told hotel provided half board. Hurdled on to bus transfers and Arrived at hotel 7pm no drink still, and then found was booked bed and breakfast not half board.
No cash nothing had to call home and get them to pay for flight and transfers next day with thomas cook.
