I booked extra leg room on a 2 4 2 seating arranged plane,turned out to be a diffrent plane, was on row 2 seat G.The seating was 3 3 3 , but the first row was 2 seats then 3 then 2 seats. I had half a seat infront of me, so my 'extra leg room' was one foot either side of a seat and the seat had a box attached to one of the legs, so no room to actually put my right foot. Therefore my leg room was in the aisle, I was constantly trod on and banged into during the flight. I spoke to a steward who said sorry we are full, cant move you. I told him it was totally unacceptable as a seat, nevermind an extra leg room seat. Have complained and heard nothing. Customer service is non existant.
No entertainment on board, broken and very smelly toilets, unresponsive attendants who are only interested in selling you something.
Save yourself the nightmare and book with another airline.
Next flights booked with Cyprus Airways, who's regular leg room is the same as Monarchs very expensive/non existent extra leg room.
