I was on the EK26 from Glasgow to Dubai on the 30th March when at 8pm we were first advised that the flight was not boarding due to a echnical problem. At 11pm they had still not rectified the issue and we were then asked to collect our luggage and go to the hotel, we had to wait over an hour outside in sub freezing temperatures whilst we waited for taxi's. We were promised dinner, which we never got. The kids, who ususally go to bed at 9pm wer climbing up the walls at 1.30am. The next day we were asked to be at the airport for a 4pm departure, we were still checking in at 3.30pm. Flight finally left just before 8pm. What a nightmare ...

I too was on this flight and would agree with what you have said, I am seeking compensation, but Emirates being Emirates are doing everything to avoid - would be really interested to know if any other passengers have been successful
