I would love EasyJet to explain why they cancelled a flight at 3.00pm on Friday because it snowed for 35 mins between 12.00pm and 13.00pm across the North west. The snow had stopped and most of the snow on the ground had dissipated by 15.00pm, so to claim that bad weather stopped the flight due to leave at 18.05 is ludicrous. Interestingly, even though the flight was cancelled at the last minute there weren't many customers at the airport. So, it is more likely that the plane was empty and you didn't want to fly and grabbed the opportunity to cancel.
The best bit is how you are now trying to wriggle out of compensating your customers for ruining their travel plans. It might not mean much to you but my plans were destroyed, and offering me a flight on Monday when I needed to be in Berlin on saturday was no consolation.
If you can book with any other operator I would suggest you do, because EasyJet doesn't give a stuff about YOU!!!

Manclad's Comment

Can't comment on anything else but that particular flight is scheduled to be operated by a Liverpool based aircraft and crew which operates LPL-SXF-MAN-SXF-MAN. LPL on this day saw more snow than MAN and was closed which meant the aircraft couldn't operate the schedule.
