I am self employed and travel regularly for business purposes within europe. A few years ago it was possible to fly with easyjet for next to nothing. At that point it didn't bother me that it is always a hassle flying with them. However, recently I have realised that if you have to fly from a major airport, they are not a lot cheaper than any other airline but the quality of the experience is way below any other airline I have ever flown with. The seats do not recline, there is no on board entertainment even on a 4 hour flight, the toilets were disgustingly dirty and it was such a nightmare getting on the plane with everyone pushing and shoving. The worst thing though has to be there constant collecting of rubbish even on a night flight meaning it was impossible to get any sleep at all. All so that they can save money! When you have paid over £250 return for flight to Europe booked 5 months in advance you expect a lot better service than this, especially when it's out of season!!
I will avoid all possibility of flying with easyjet again, I would much prefer give just a tiny bit more and travel in semi-luxury!!
