They required me to check my carry on while we were walking down the tunnel to the plane. My carry on was only large enough to carry my laptop to keep it safe. It would have easily fit under the seat in front of me or in the overhead. Instead they forced me to check it and they smashed it. Now they refuse to fix it because I don't have the original receipt. I am sorry I don't keep receipts for items that are out of warranty, and this is simply not acceptable.
