Our flight was cancelled at the last minute. Delta
managed to get us a flight on American Airlines. Although
disappointed with the cancelled flight, I was pleased with the
customer service representative who managed to get us on a different
flight around the same time as the original one.
Tonight I went to check in online and discovered that my return flight
had been cancelled. I discovered this after first calling Delta who
told me to call Alaska, who had me call American Airlines who then
explained the issue and said I had to call... Delta.
After calling Delta again, the customer support representative told me
I would need to talk with a supervisor and placed me on hold. After
10 or 15 minutes waiting patiently on hold, I was hung up on by their
system.
This is the last thing I wanted to deal with on my vacation at 12 in
the morning for well over an hour. I am extremely disappointed with
the level of customer support I've received over the phone and via the
website.
