Horrible Company Never on Time.

Here is a Brief description on just the flight alone. My Flight was Flight #806 from Kelowna to Puerto Vallarta Feb 19 with a return flight on March 4 flight #807.
Where to start as I had a HORRIBLE experience from the time of booking that should have been my FIRST clue.
Well lets start here the biggest concern and lesson i have learned.... I will NEVER EVER fly with CANJET Ever again. Nor will I recommend the airline and if I ever need to fly again I WILL pay the extra $50.00 to fly with WESTJET from here on out.
Why will I not fly with CanJet... here is a brief discription of just my 2 flights my family had to endure.
Myself, as well as my husband and our 4 year old son, booked a trip with Travelocity which uses Canjet for their charter, well first the customer service from both were Horrible before the actuall flight even left, rude people on the phone unknowledgeble of their policies. And then when I go to pre book my seats at home I get charged an extra $100 on top of my already purchased tickets, but only to find out at the airport check in that travelers with children or those with 3 or more don't need to Pre book their seats. ( the gentlemen who explained this was also the one checking us in at the desk and he worked for JAZZ not CanJet) well that would have been nice to save that extra $100, which we never did end up getting back and the gentleman said we should have been told that but of course Canjets customer service is unknowledgeble in that area so that is why I wasn't made aware of it, or they are just a Money hungry company. We Borded the plane that was 2 hours late, with some very intoxicated passengers, so much so that this 60 year old women was sobbing so hard she had snot running all down her clothes all because she didnt' like her duty free watch and the flight attendents were not at her beckening call, this lady sat beside us and made it INCREDIBLY difficult for My child to sleep as she was having a tantrum herself. ( is it NOT the booking desk responsibility to keep unruley incredibly intoxicated passengers OFF the plane? ) now what a great conversation I had to have with my 4 year old son as to why this women is being loud and crying and why there is snot hanging a foot from her nose. Yummy and she sat the isle next to us.
Though it was nice to be praised leaving the plane how My 4 year old was better behaved then 1/2 the drunks on our plane.
Vacation was fine until the day we had to leave.
Departure day.
Go to check in online and see if our flight is on time, and well CanJET had NO records of the flight leaving kelowna nor did the PV airport site have a flight #807 even coming in to PV or leaving from kelowna. I actually called the airline as well as travel agency and got told there were NO flights even sched for departure at that time. but during the call magically the site popped a flight that matched our criteria it was a flight leaving kelowna at 10:45 ( our depart from PV time was 9:40 pm) we didn't even get to board the plane till 11:45pm and we were told that they had some cleaning issues in kelowna andthats was why the plane was late. Only to find out at the end of the flight through a flight attendent that the plane was having mechanical issues and so a second plane had to be sent to PV to take us home. The Food on the plane was cold and soggy both ways we were offered these wraps of turkey or vegetarian we had both and none of us ate any of em as when we opened it up they were soggy and smelled nasty whichIi felt I may get listeria if I ate the wraps. return flight home we thought they would have better food, but sad to say it was just as disgusting if not more so the second time around at 1am even.
All in All it was a HORRIBLE LIFE EXPERIENCE which i don't Ever want to endure again and will make sure that I, or my family or friends will have to experience such a horrible airline EVER again.
