“Better staff training needed”

The online check in was great, the entertainment system worked and we had a choice for the meal. Price not bad but we had to cancel and re-book as our son was ill. This cost us in total £3,500 for two adults and a 2yr old. Plus hotel and parking was extra. What i wasn't prepared for was the comment made by one of two crew members. One of them seemed to indirectly know us but we hadn't a clue who they were. It was a nice comment but i had been looking forward to getting away from an awful time i'd had with direct neighbours who had been invading our privacy and personal boundaries. I kept an eye on these crew members and couldn't undrastand why one of them dictated to the others that they would take up the rear. Close to where we were seated. I was shocked to over hear one of these crew members state the name of one of our problem neighbours in relation to one of the big problems we'd had with them. I felt so uncomfortable. We couldn't afford the holiday so family paid for the accommodation and we paid for the flights. Flights so i could get away from what had happened. I had been living under severe stress and couldn't cope some days as i hit rock bottom at times. We paid for a very uncomfortable flight where service was inconsistent and unprofessional really. Your holiday starts when you board the flight. My face just dopped. I just had a constant reminder of what we'd paid to get away from. My health fell apart when we got back. Thank you, British Airways and your poorly trained, unprofessional associates. You just about finished me off.
