Hadn't flown BA before, and was really looking forward to the experience, however, sadly I won't repeat it. 3hour delay in leaving due to technical problems with the aircraft - that would be fair enough, but very little explanation and no drinks offered. On what subsequently amounted to an 11 hour flightto Nairobi only 2 drinks were offered. My husbands monitor didn't work, despite 3 attempts by the crew to revive it. Homeward journey, some of the staff were quite offhand, meals were cleared away before we had finished, a fellow passenger politely asked crew for a replacement drink for his young daughter as it had been taken, the crew member responded quite huffily and stalked off. Food quite poor on home trip. Snack tray at rear of plane, but these weren't offered to passengers. Apparently you could go and help yourself - if you knew about them - whilst the staff sat chatting. I fly 2/3 times each year, and this was worse than many budget airlines. Unimpressed BA - try harder.
