I'd not flown with British Airways for a while, I've mainly flown with 'budget airlines' or more recently KLM. The flight from Glasgow to Heathrow was fine, a short flight, on time, no hassles. Heathrow terminal five was a very pleasant surprise, I think of Heathrow as an airport to be endured but terminal five was great, clean, airy and with lots to do.
The next leg was the flight to Bucharest, it took about 3 hours and left on time. The staff were friendly, the food was fine and the flight passed without incident.
The return was much the same, flight was on time, friendly efficient staff and acceptable food. What was pleasing was the price, all in I got this for just over £220, not a steal but for 4 flights including taxes it felt acceptable. I found the BA staff to be friendly and efficient, nothing went wrong so they weren't stretched but at the same time they should be given credit for that.
there was no inflight entertainment, I hadn't noticed this at the time and it was only the question being asked on here that made me realise it.
Overall I hadn't realised I'd missed British Airways, I'd gotten used to the cattle drive that is Easyjey and Ryanair, I'll actively seek out BA in the future again.
