4 of us flew MAN to ORD and return. No choice over seats. Logged in 24 hours before departure to choose - all taken. The aircraft was old, the seat in front was broken so when the guy in front reclined his chair, I had about 4 inches of space between my face and the seatback in front. One of the toilets was out of use. The flight entertainment system is way out of date. I don't want to watch NBC universal rubbish or adverts for esurance. I would like a choice!
On return flight again no choice over seats, my wife was 4 seats away from me. No choice over meal- run out of chicken. No choice over wine- run out. Cabin staff dressed in an assortment of cardigans looking very unprofessional (and overweight). Cramped cabin and another full flight.Compared with Emirates or Etihad, American Airlines you are about 30 years behind the times. I won't fly with you again- I will go to LHR and fly BA. Your passengers aka customers need better treatment than this!!
