We were suppose to fly out on Friday night, did not fly out until Sat night, due to mechanical problems on two different planes. We were put up for the night at Sioux Falls when they could not fly us out on Friday, however, when they told us that the next flight was not until Saturday night, and we were suppose to be at a resort at Phoenix on Friday night and enjoy the resort all day on Saturday, the lodging at Sioux Falls just didn't seem like an even trade.
The return flight was delayed as well, we were suppose to fly out at 3:45, did not leave until 10:00, we boarded one plane, had to get off, due to mechanical problems, boarded another plane, sat and waited forever, possible weather issues. We did not get back to Sioux Falls until 3 AM, then had to drive 2 hours home after that with no sleep!
Horrible experience, we had a short weekend planned in the first place, then we were shorted a whole day at Phoenix, we spent 17 hours at the airport this weekend waiting for flights that did not happen when they were scheduled!!!!!
You get what you pay for, I guess that saying is true when it comes to Allegiant, cheap flights, horrible service, you cannot depend on Allegiant air!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, they offered us a $25 voucher for our next flight with them for our trouble, like that is going to happen. What a huge disappointment. Allegiant - get it together to provide the service that you advertise!
