Going from Los Angeles to Toronto Air Canada staff would only except money not card. I had no money to pay for food or drinks and they would not even give me water as water was bottled and priced.
On the way back from Toronto to Los Angeles I made sure I had money but this time they only accepted card, so I gave them my Visa Debit and they said they didn't except UK cards. ????
So, I was not only annoyed I was to go with food or water, yet again, I was even more infuriated when I offered $5 Canadian note just to buy a set of headphones that were only 3 bucks. The rude staff member (a male from Belfast, Ireland) refused to take any money, no show a bit of decency and let me have a cheap set of disposable headphones anyway. Obviously keeping their customers happy is the furthest thing on Air Canada's list of priorities.
Lastly, aside from the plane being 30mins over schedule, a girl sitting beside me in economy was permitted to use the bathroom in business class. There was a trolley blocking the restrooms at the far side in economy so I proceeded to use business class, when this horrible staff member French Canadian told me to leave business class and use the restrooms I couldn't get to. When I explained the situation, he went blank and just repeated like a robot, 'this is business class, you have to leave'. I've never felt so embarrassed and angry on a flight. I wanted to punch someone or shout bomb out of anger lol
AIR CANADA is thee WORST airline I have ever flown with and I will NEVER -EVER- fly with them again even if they're the last airline on earth. Somehow, judging by their damaged reputation, I think if there was a last airline standing, AIR CANADA certainly wouldn't be it.
DON'T FLY AIR CANADA whatever you do, spend your money with better people than these horrible snobs.
