Air Canada is the worst airline! The staff are rude and refuse to help you even when they make a mistake. I'm flying fro
Toronto to Vancouver with connecting flights to Melbourne Australia. I booked 8 months ago and yet I was put on stand by! When I told them I have to get on the flight as I need to get to a wedding in Australia, they said there was nothing they could do and I just had to wait! They said thhat the fair I paid wasn't the most expensive one so I get bumped!

I paid over $2000 for the flight and made sure to book well in advance. I actually booked with air new zealand but would never have done so if i knew part of my trip would be with air Canada. They overbook their flights on purpose! Absolutely rediculous! As I said, i have to get to Australia for a wedding and it seems that that is going to be an impossibility due to the incompetence of air Canada! Never fly on the airline! Rude and rediculous policy of overbooking!
