Outboud was perfect- flights full, on time, arrived in Newark Early. Free soft drinks, food for purchase (opted out), and great free IFE. Return, delayed 2 hours because of ATC restrictions over NYC during rush hour. AC offered free alcohol onboard to compensate, even though it was beyond their control. Crew kept us informed on the ground. Plane was a CRJ 705, with tiny overhead bins, and no gate check option- Executive passenger broke my bin trying to stuff his carry on into it! They need a gate check option on these planes! Seats great, tons of legroom, even PTV's on a regional jet! Connection easy, last flight delayed an hour (passenger missing, had to unload bags, etc.). Constant updates, pilot apologized too. Bought a hot meal from executive class which was actually good! Booze was 6$, so i opted out. Seats and legroom on this E90 great for the 4.5 hour flight! All bags arrived promptly in edmonton, and we were in the car 15 minutes after landing!
