Air Asia is a low budget airline in Asia. So the service and the product is pretty low as well. Two years ago I took a flight from Bangkok to Singapore. Their checkin counter would only let us check in the last minute, which is 30 minutes before departure. Think about it, if you were their 2 hours earlier, but you aren't able to check in. They would only let you check in 30 minutes before departure, no more no later. Then after you checked in you had 10 minutes exactly to run to the last terminal where the plane departed. It was both a long and frustrating run. When you boarded the flight attendance was of no help but that was not as bad as when you arrived in Singapore, your bags were transferred to another flight because they said you "Checked in late". On top of that, they told you to come back another day to pick up your own luggages, which was a two hour drive from your hotel, at your own expense.
In conclusion, horrible service, horrible product, and horrible horrible flight.
