I recently missed my fathers removal as I was 5 minutes late arriving at Aer Lingus's transfer desk in Heathrow terminal one after flying into terminal three from Dubai and as a result was not allowed to board my scheduled flight .
Even when I explained the circumstances and why I needed to be on that particular flight I received no understanding and was essentially ignored by Aer Lingus staff.
Is it any wonder they are a mickey mouse airline.
