Thanks AEGEAN!

The short connecting flight from Athens to Istanbul left us stranded in a foreign country being put on standby by AEGEAN and not being offered any refreshments or food. They could have easily booked us a flight and sent us to a hotel but they bluntly refused.

Instead we waited 12 hours at airport till 3 am, then slept for 4 hours at a hotel and the following morning we were put on a flight apart from each other.

We should have arrived home on Sunday morning, instead we arrived 6am on Monday morning and we had to then rush home and then into work with 4 hours sleep in 2 days.

I really liked their planes and the seats were comfortable but this was nothing compared to experience they put as through. They took 2 months to reply to my email and the reply from them was basically AEGEAN telling us they did what they can and sorry about not being able to do anything more.

This, I am afraid is not service. It was one of the worst travel experience in my life and why? Because I chose AEGEAN for a short flight at the beginning of my journey home.
