I have chopped in my Enigma deluxe PCP which was excellent towards a HW100SK. July 11 model. Tried the usual pellets, some not as accurate as my old gun..........very dissapointed. Went to shop (owner has one), bit of advice, Bisley Mags, heavy 4.52 size very accurate (6mm targets constant strike at 35yds), seems like the 4.5 not very good. ie Daystate Li c**p, Mosquito, not very good. Also buy a bi-pod. You will be amazed at the difference. Sad, many a good gun sold in error thinking they have a pup. 99% of problems are either 1, to cheap a scope(min £120), 2, wrong pellets, 3 poor shooting, AND 4, Friday afternoon gun, Fritze has been on a Thursday bender again. If all FOUR then you might as well just throw the pellets at the target, you will get a better hit. Then how good can you expect, I can now shoot Bluebottle flies (sad i Know) splat them at 35yds (sorry fly lubbers) People say heavy, well I was expecting a Lump of lead, but not as heavy as my old gun. so happy. I get about 55 shots 1.77 Karbine. Any hobby now is going to cost a £1000, so if its your hobby then its worth it. Was going to buy BSA R10, but I mailed about some issues about problems... nice to be ignored...

I've just bought a brand new HW10KT .177 & haven't really given it a thorough test as yet, but so far it is excellent. I also have a BSA R10 .177 which is nearly 2yrs old, & is as accurate, & as consistent as anything out there. So far, when I go hunting, I reach for the R10, but maybe that's because I'm used to it. In my opinion, both cracking rifles.
