Had a tx200 hc mk2,sold it because of bad finances.really missed it, 3 months later went to gun shop to buy another and noticed hw97 synthetic and nickel model. As soon as i picked it up and shouldered it i had to have it.Knowing the ever increasing debate and competition between the English and the German company's about which is best i was happy to buy without shooting it. Sadly that was a mistake, after taking it home and shooting it i doubted my choice.10/10 on accuracy and build quality but it wasn't smooth as silk like my old tx...gutted!I don't know if they're all like this when they're new.Even after a tin of pellets there was a large amount of recoil, loud, twangy slow shot cycle and the resonance through the hollow stock was extremely annoying. So as soon as i could i ordered a vortek tuning kit from the U.S. As i heard they were the best choice for the D.I.Y tuner.OMG Instantly transformed it and Il never look back or sell EVER!!! my lovely old tx is just a hazy memory. 5p's at 60yds consistently, speaks volumes. You don't have to buy a tuning kit just expect it to be a little rough around the edges if you've had a tuned air rifle before. BUY ONE!!!
