“webley vmx .22 camo springer”

Written on: 26/04/2015 by Rodney116 (1 review written)

I got the webley vmx as a present off my wife, I have owned the rifle for over a year its a realy good budget rifle. I use this rifle in all weathers for ratting and its got rid of plenty of the rat population and never let me down I also own a german springer (worth around 500 pounds) I didn't want to distroy the german rifle by using it in all weather, so this is were the vmx comes in its weather proof with its synthetic stock whitch is very good in the rain its not slippy and so long as you… Read Full Review

“ram failure after 500 shots”

Written on: 12/04/2015 by stevemolly (1 review written)

I bought a webley vmx dram in January and after about 300 shots every 7th to 8 shot I had to brake the barrel twice, Gradually this started to worsen until after about 400 + pellets I got total failure in April, not even a full tin used, the gun is now in for repair, will I be able to buy a full tin and use them when I get it back,I did like the gun in every way untill this happened now I am wondering how long will it last when I get it back and should I get rid or part chop now, very disappointed… Read Full Review

“Webley Vmv .22 Air Rifle”

Written on: 15/11/2014 by bluem00n (1 review written)

I bought the Webley .22 Vmv recently to get back into shooting again after a break of 25 years. I didn't want to spend to much because it is to be an occasional pastime. I went to my local dealer and tried several makes and models of air rifles and decided to go with the Webley Vmv .22 and have no regrets with my choice. It's build quality is excellent and it seems great value for money. The balance, weight and operation of the rifle personally suits me down to the ground though I do realize… Read Full Review

“Webley Vmx (Valuemax).22”

Written on: 26/10/2013 by Toby007 (1 review written)

Hello I Bought a new Vmx called valuemax air rifle in .22 made by Webley. The rifle was good from the box needing just a couple of drops of oil in the trigger group as it was a bit gritty. The rifle is a good full size and weighs 6.4 lbs or 2.9kg so a mid weight rifle features very effective tru glow fibre optic sights so relatively easy on open sight shooting! The stock is a sturdy polymer stock some reports a abs content but it gives a traditional good balance to the rifle and is weather… Read Full Review

1969Charlie's Response to Toby007's Review

I too bought a Webley vmx,in .177,the gas ram version known as a d-ram.I was pleased overall with the rifle, especially for the price, but the trigger is very dissapointing.to the point where I was looking at other rifles to replace it.but I spoke to wood field tuning after reading good reviews about his trigger blade upgrades.so I ordered one.being very optimistic as I don't fall for advertising hype.I fitted the trigger myself with the help of his onine video on YouTube.I couldn't believe the transformation.its a completely different gun.it shoots so sweet now and consequencely accuracy has improved no end.I love the gun now and am keeping it.I am really impressed overall now the trigger is sweet.oh and the trigger upgrade cost 23 pounds, posted.it was money well spent on a gun that is now as good as any costing much more.

I bought a .22 VMX D-Ram which I am very happy with overall but also agree that the trigger could be better so I might try "Welsh Willie's" upgraded Trigger. I have been shooting for more years than I care to remember and and have had more Air Rifles over the years than I can count; so I thought perhaps it was my age causing some of the problems. Will let you know.
