Not recommended! This rifle has serious feeding problems. The mag does not align properly and about 25% of the time when you close the bolt a cartridge does not feed. Also it misfires frequently. There will be a mark on the cartridge rim where it is struck but it does not fire. This is not an ammo problem because if you take the cartidge out and reposition it, it will eventually fire. It's hard to believe that a gun like this with obvious design flaws would be released for sale. This is my first Savage gun and will also be my last.
