I've had this rifle a long while in it's stock condition, SMK say full power (uk 12 ft lb's) but I highly doubt this. I would say about 8-10 ft lb out of the box. as most rifles, you don't get a scope, just the plastic adjustable fore and rear sights, which put the pellet somewhere in the area that you aim. The recoil on this rifle out of the box is noticeable, the staining on the stock is dark brown and not very nice and it has quite a twang when fired making it not the quietest of rifles I've ever shot, plus it is a relatively heavy rifle.

Now, if you read this expecting me to continue slagging off this rifle, you're wrong. . . completely and utterly wrong!

This rifle is very tunable!!, complete new internals are available from a company in Wales (UK) called Woodfield GCP, The Titan Ddraig Goch tuning kit fitted to a rifle with polished stock internals transforms this rifle into something amazing, the recoil is non-existent, it's very smooth and quiet firing and the power is right up to the legal 12ftlb limit making this rifle a very good hunter rifle, more than capable or downing rabbits, pigeon and other pests.

I spent a good 2 hours sanding the original stock down and staining it using colron wood dye and finishing with danish oil, the grain and patterns in the wood are beautiful and well worth the effort of sanding it down.

Once fitted with a reasonable red dot sight or a good scope, this rifle is highly accurate, I can easily get sub 1 inch groupings at 30 yards, it's not a pellet fussy rifle but I have found RWS pellets fly well with my rifle.

The trigger is the only down side with it not been adjustable, but once you get some practice, the break is highly predictable and easy to use.

A silencer and adapter kit are available from a SMK dealer and do reduce the shot noise quite a lot, the adapter lets you screw on any 1/2" unf threaded silencer letting you use one of your choice.

If you can find a cheap one second hand, they make a brilliant project and are worth the time and effort.

Get one, tune it, love it!
