I have had my .177 1000 for five years and use it to control rabbits and prairie dogs. My record kill is 225 feet one shot to the head of a prairie dog. At 60 feet in the basement I can hit a dime sized bullseye. This is not a kids gun and could cause serious injury if misused. Takes about 35 lbs. of cocking effort. As with all spring barrel guns the screws can come loose periodically so keep them tight or gun gets inaccurate.
Have shot thousands of rounds with no problem. Scope that came with gun works fine.
