I traded a break-barrel air rifle for this used Avanti 853. Could not get the break-barrel to shoot consistenly accurate groups. The Avanti was easy to zero in and I'm now getting 3 shot groups touching at 10 meters.

This is an underlever single pump action. Very easy to cock, but watch out you fingers don't get pinched.

Loading the pellets in the small chamber was difficult at first, and could be tricky for those with large fingers. Once you get the hang of it, its fine.

I set up a range in the basement and it is very quiet compared with the break-barrel.

Aperture sights are easy to zero.

Overall, it is a great gun to practice target shooting skills.
