“A damn fine rifle!”

I purchased a TX200HC a couple of weeks back. It is a MK3 and second hand with a decent Tasco scope and cost me £200. I have had various air rifles over the years but this is by far the best one of the lot. It has unbelievable power (last test showed 11.9 fbs). I want to get a silencer and it does have a loud bang when firing and the thing is pretty heavy so not really suited for youngsters. Accuracy is consistent and the weight actually helps with keeping the gun still when firing.

Overall, one of the best rifles i have owned and will be one i will keep for years to come. More then just a plinker but a serious bit of kit with power, accuracy and build quality to match. I am not a hunter but this serves me well as full power target rifle. The metal is really beautiful and the stock is chunky giving an overall feel of a quality rifle which leaves others in the dust.

Does anyone have a reason why I should get the long barrelled version as opposed to the HC? Seems the HC is as good in every respect and a bit lighter/better balanced?
