This air pistol was made in the early '60's for club target shooters. It had a unique way of minimising recoil in those pre common usage of PCP/CO2 days. Cocking it cocked a pair of opposing pistons, which cancelled each other out (in theory) when it was fired. It worked well, to be honest. Unless one spring was weaker than the other.
