I got a mod6 for servicing a mod5G the 6 is in better nick but the guy liked the 5 as it has the match grip and in .22 it has little recoil. The mod6 was an absolute masterpiece of engineering. A recoilless springer if only a rifle could be made to 12 ft/lb it would clear up and render pcp's useless,though it would probably be to heavy! This air pistol was made in the early '60's for club target shooters. It had a unique way of minimising recoil in those pre common usage of PCP/CO2 days. Cocking it cocked a pair of opposing pistons, which cancelled each other out (in theory) when it was fired. It worked well, to be honest. Unless one spring was weaker than the other.
