A friend gave me the 717 as the seals were leaking so I sent it to Daisy & for $34 including return postage they replaced all the seals etc. & it is a fun gun to shoot. Lube it with Crosman pelgunoil & don't pump more than 1 time. I get 400 fps W/ RWS 7g pellets. My ser. # is 4h21969. The only negative about it is I wish it had a scope rail for mounting a red dot scope.
