You probably stored the gun for a long time with the gas tank inside. The yellowish runner gasket that seals the gas tank to the pistol connector is permanenly deformed and cannot seal the gas bottle. You may write to daisy.com contact to send you another gasket and replace it yourself. For replacement you better disassemble the gun but be careful when removing the screw near the front of the muzzle because there are two springs inside that may jump out. You don't need complete disassembly, just pull out the two pins that hold the aluminum gas bottle housing attached to the main body, then unscrew the yellow ring at the connector and replace the gasket. The gun will work like new but you have to remove the gas bottle after each use and you cannot store it ready for action. Good luck!
