I would think about buying another if Land Rover would improve the rear door access (to heavy). Setup the cruise control better and update the phone blue tooth connection.

Never had any problems with any of my Freelanders, this one however takes the cake. Rides like a dream. Well balanced and quiet, I have the TD4 automatic SE. Feels big, brakes well.

Just taken delivery of my first Landrover. What a fantastic vehicle. I'm very pleased with the build, drive, and style qualities of the new Td4. Wish I'd bought one sooner. Highly recommend this 4x4 for anyone who is thinking of joining the 4x4 revalution and feels other makes may be too big.

Yep, I'd agree with the other two, what a pile of pants they are and then when you take it back to the local land rover agent to fix it, the bill instantly jumps into the hundreds (never is it tens) of pounds. NB: Mines a TD4Es top of the range turbo diesel auto, nothing but a headache.

I'd agree with the previous comment, see my review posted last year, and it hasn't got any better since then with the air flow meter and turbo valve having to be replaced within weeks of each other. (Oh yes and it still eats tyres and brake pads!)

Wait until you have it over 40k then it will start to fall apart. My Freelander was in bits by 50k had to go Jap.
