I owned a 2007 for a year, sold it, missed it, and then bought a new 2011 version of the same model. I would not have gone back to a CBR125R unless I was really happy with it.
Pros: Starts easy and is extremely reliable in all weather and temperatures. Very light and flickable through the corners, decent brakes, looks okay. Honda quality.
Cons: It's only a 125cc, so it's great up to about 90kph (55mph) and then pretty much runs out of steam. If you open the throttle up, it will eventually crawl from 90kph up to maybe 110-115, and that's about it.
Also, the stock IRC tires are not that great on wet pavement. You can get Bridgestones or other tires in stock sizes that stick much better.
Overall, this is a great bike for urban areas, or quiet country roads. If you need to ride a lot on high-speed freeways, you will want a larger engine.
Conclusion: I'm very happy with my CBR125, and if it were stolen, I would definitely consider buying another.
