HMC 125 Lighting is a new bike on UK market. It's made in China and imported by Zhong Bikes, the biggest importer of Chinese bikes in UK. It seems bikes they import are well made and have been on the market for last couple of years. Their service is very good as well-any part you need, you order and receive next day. So I decided to take a risk and purchase HMC 125.It looks very similar to Yamaha WR125 but for half price. The retail price is around 2000 pounds. You get a very well made bike for this money-liquid cooled engine, disc breaks on both wheels and very attractive styling. It handles perfect, start first time ( even during the winter when was -5 temp with no choke!!!!!!). It's very economic, does about 100mpg. I just done 1000km and maybe it is still early to write this review but so far it has been great. First service was done and at the moment its still as good as new. I fitted sports exhaust and now it sounds like big bike, awesome I use it every day as commuter in London and Im very pleased with it. I have had many motorbikes in my life in last 15 years, for last 6 have been trading them as well. I've had bad experience with Chinese bikes before and I promised myself: never again Chinese bike....but HMC is an exeption. I decided to get 125 asI got too many points on my licence-big bike was sold;( there is much less temptation with 125...however I still do 60 mph in London .... ups;). And ever since I fitted sports muffler I look forward to every trip to/from work. I will keep this bike for 1 or 2 years. Thanks to it I changed my mind about Chinese bikes-not all are bad quality , brands like Lifan or Boation have improved their quality along the years. And Im sure HMC is no diferent- well made at affordable price.
